Soneam holds unreleased masters, so you should know exactly who is holding them. This page identifies the company behind the Service, how to reach a person here, and how money moves through it.

3. Payments and billing
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Card details go to Stripe directly. We never see or store a full card number.
Plan prices are listed on the pricing page and are charged in US dollars. If your card is denominated in another currency, the amount you are billed depends on the exchange rate your card issuer applies at the time of the charge, and your issuer may add its own foreign transaction fee.
Payment-gated delivery works differently, and we take 0% of it. When you collect a balance from your own client before releasing a download, a card payment settles into your Stripe account, not ours, and the only deduction is Stripe's own processing fee. We are not a party to that transaction: it is an agreement between you and your client, and the terms, invoicing and any refund of it are yours to set. This page and our subscription terms cover the plan fee you pay us, and nothing else.
4. Statutory disclosures
Japan's Act on Specified Commercial Transactions (特定商取引法) requires a seller to publish a set of disclosures for consumers. Because those rules exist for Japanese consumers, we publish that disclosure in Japanese rather than in translation: 特定商取引法に基づく表記.
If you are reading in English, the same substance (pricing, billing cycle, when access starts, cancellation and refunds) is set out in Terms of Service §8.
5. Governing law
Our agreement with you is governed by the laws of Japan, with the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance. Consumers keep the protections of their local mandatory law, including the right to bring proceedings where they live. The full clause is Terms of Service §17.
