Do all Soneam plans include every feature?
Yes. Every plan, including Free, has the full toolset: no-login client review links, lossless FLAC playback, the streaming loudness preview, waveform-pinned comments, Fair Loudness A/B, recorded approvals, password-protected delivery, and payment-gated delivery with a 0% platform fee. Plans differ only by how much storage you get.
Is there a free trial?
The Free plan is the trial, and it doesn't expire: unlimited projects and 5 GB with every feature, no credit card, no time limit. Run a real client project on it and upgrade when you need more room.
Do my clients need an account or a paid seat?
Never. Clients open a link, listen in lossless, comment on the waveform, approve, and download their delivery without creating an account. Clients and reviewers are free on every plan, always.
What counts toward my storage?
The files stored under your account: your masters, cover art originals, extra delivery files like stems or PDFs, files kept in a project, anything a client sends through an upload request, and comment attachments. The lossless preview copies Soneam generates for browser playback do not count against it, since we make those. If you hit the limit, nothing is lost or locked; you just need more space to upload new files.
Is it enough for session files?
It depends what you ask it to hold. A project keeps the whole job next to what the client sees, and a file can be up to 50 GB, so a zipped session sits beside the masters it came from. What it is not is your backup. A four-minute master at 24-bit/44.1 kHz is about 61 MB, so an album with three versions of every track is under 2 GB, and Pro holds well over a hundred of them. A single large session folder can be 20 GB on its own. If you keep every session for every record you have made, that belongs somewhere built for archives and priced like one.
Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime?
Yes. Billing runs through Stripe, and you can change plans or cancel from the customer portal at any time. Downgrading keeps all your projects; you'd only need to free up space if you're over the smaller plan's storage.
