Which emails does Soneam send me?
Comments, plays, approvals, files, downloads and card payments, each with its own switch in Settings.
Settings → Notifications has a switch for each kind. They save as you move them; there is nothing to submit.
- Comments · a client leaves a comment or replies to one.
- Plays · somebody plays your link. Sent once, about ten minutes after they start, so a client who listens twice does not send two.
- Approvals · a client approves a version, withdraws an approval, or asks for changes.
- Files from clients · a client sends you files through an upload link.
- Downloads · a client downloads the files you released.
- Card payments · a client pays by card and the files unlock on their own.
Switching one off stops that mail and nothing else: the event is still recorded, and the project page and the Visits panel still show it.
Two kinds of mail are not on this list. Product news is separate and only goes to people who asked for it, with an unsubscribe link in every one. Account mail has no switch: a password reset, a confirmation, a notice about your plan. Those are sent because you or your account needs them.
