What does the Visits panel show?
Every browser that opened the link, and how much of each song was played, with the shape of where they listened.
Open a project and choose Visits in the right-hand rail. It has two parts.
How much of each song was played. One card per song. The line across the front compares the versions: “v3 75% · v2 88% · v1 100%”. A client who listened to less of each new version is one glance rather than four. Inside the card, the strip is the song from start to finish, and its height is how many seconds of each part were played. Move along it and the line under it says where you are and how long that part was played. Where a version has more than one, the pills switch between them.
Every visit. Each browser that opened the link, newest first, with what it did: opened, played, how long it stayed, which version, and whether the audio actually made a sound in that browser.
Some things this panel is careful about. A visit is a device, not a person: nothing here records who anybody is, and two browsers may be the same person. The count of browsers is always beside the numbers, so one client’s afternoon is not read as a trend. Visits from an address you have been using yourself are marked and left out of the counts. That is a guess: a studio’s own wifi can put a real client on the same address.
“Played more than once” means a stretch somebody went back over: two browsers arriving at it, or one returning to it.
The panel is on Pro and above. On Free the number of visits is shown, and the chip under the project title still says whether the link was opened or played.
