What happens to comments when I upload a new version?
Open comments carry forward at the same timestamps. Resolved comments stay on the earlier version.
Open and in-progress comments carry into the new version with their existing timestamps and an indicator of the source version. Resolved comments remain on the earlier version.
Soneam does not adjust comment positions to account for edits. If you remove 40 seconds from an introduction, later comments will refer to the old timeline until you check their positions. Use the source-version indicator to understand where a note was made.
The comments panel can show this version, this track or the whole project.
Free allows up to 3 retained versions per track, including on existing projects. At the limit, choose Pro to add another version within your storage allowance. Existing versions and comments remain available.
