Can I bring the comments into my DAW as markers?
On Pro, Export notes writes the open comments on a version into a marker file for your DAW.
Under the player, Export notes writes the unresolved comments on the version you are looking at into a marker file. Choose the format for your DAW: MIDI markers (Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase), Reaper, Audition, Nuendo, Audacity labels, or Every note in full · spreadsheet, a CSV with the whole text of every note.
A comment on a range becomes a region where the format has regions. A marker’s name is the first 60 characters of the comment; the full text goes in the description where the format has one, and always in the spreadsheet.
If the audio does not sit at zero in your session, enter where it starts in Audio start in the DAW (seconds), so the markers land on the audio. Nuendo asks for a frame rate.
The import has been checked in each of these DAWs: Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Nuendo, Reaper, Audition and Audacity. If a file does not come in as it should in your version, tell us the DAW and its version.
