Can I go back to an earlier version?
Yes. Open the version menu on the older one and make it the current version. The client hears it, and a released download follows it.
Each track has one current version: the one the client hears when they open the link, and, once you release the files, the one they download. A new upload becomes current on its own. If the client prefers the one before it, you can make that one current again without deleting anything or uploading it twice.
-
Open the project and pick the older version with the v1 / v2 buttons under the waveform.
-
Press the menu beside those buttons, then the button that makes it the current version.
From then on the link plays that version first. If the client can switch versions (the default), the others are still there to compare. If you have released the files, the release swaps to it too, and the next Download all is rebuilt, so nobody is handed a file that no longer matches what they hear.
The version history stays as it was: nothing is deleted, and the approval record still names the version that was approved. Making a version current is about what the client sees now, not about rewriting what happened.
