Can I hold a delivery until the invoice is paid?

Yes. Put an amount on the delivery package and the download stays locked until it is settled.

1. Open the Delivery panel and click Create delivery package.

   

2. Pick the versions to send.

   

3. Open the payment section and set the amount due. You can itemise it and add a payment note, which is where bank details or an invoice number go.

   

4. Send it. The client sees the files and a balance due, and the download unlocks when the money is in.

   

There are two ways it opens. With Stripe connected, a card payment unlocks it the moment it clears and the money goes to your account, not ours. Without Stripe, the client presses a button to say they have sent it and you mark it paid, which unlocks the same files.

You can choose per delivery which methods are offered, so an invoice you meant to be a bank transfer does not get paid by card with the fee coming out of your side. What Soneam charges for any of this is nothing.
