Approval and delivery

Can I send a DDP or PDF with a delivery?

Yes. A delivery takes any file type alongside the masters, up to 2 GB each, behind the same password and the same payment gate.

Yes. The masters in a delivery are versions you already uploaded, and Add extra files takes anything else: a zipped DDP folder, the stems, a lacquer cut sheet, artwork, a PDF of the credits, an invoice. There is no format whitelist on that field. The limits are 2 GB per file and 50 files at a time, and the bytes count toward your storage.

This is not the same field as the one you upload masters to, and the difference is deliberate. A version is analysed on the way in, so it has to be audio we can read loudness, true peak and a waveform from. An extra file is stored and handed over, so it does not have to be anything in particular.

Everything lands on one link. The client streams the masters and downloads the files from the same page, under the same password, and if you set an amount due, the extra files stay locked until it is settled along with everything else. Download all (.zip) puts the masters and the extra files in one archive.

The reason this matters more than it sounds: the usual way to get a DDP to a client is to send it separately and ask them to install a DDP player. That is an install, an explanation, and a second place for the job to live. Here it rides along with the thing they were already going to open.
