Files and storage

Where do I keep session files and DDPs?

Every project has a Files page. Anything that is not a track version goes there, up to 50 GB a file.

A job is not only its masters. There is the session folder, the DDP image, the recall sheet, the reference the artist sent, the PDF of the credits, the brief. Those live on the Files page of the project, and there is no list of accepted types: whatever you want kept beside the audio goes there, zipped or not.

It is not the same thing as uploading a version. A version is a mix or a master, and it gets analysed on the way in. What goes on the Files page is stored exactly as you sent it and handed back the same way.

  1. Open the project and click Files in the bar along the top.

The Files button in the project topbar, between Client view and the more menu
  2. Drag your files onto the drop area, or click it to pick them. Several at once is fine.

  3. Give them a label if it helps you find them later, then click Upload. Large files keep going while you work elsewhere in the app.

Up to 50 GB a file. A zipped session folder from a large orchestral date is around 23 GB at 24-bit and 96 kHz, so the ceiling is above the work rather than in the middle of it. There is no monthly upload cap, and no limit on how many files a project holds. What bounds you is your plan's storage.

Files uploaded here are yours. They are not shown on any review or delivery link, and a client never sees this page. If you want a client to have the stems, attach them to a delivery instead.

The Files page also lists everything else the project already holds: every version, anything clients sent through an upload request, and everything you have delivered. Downloading any of it gives you the file under its real name.
