Can my client keep listening with the phone locked?
On an iPhone or iPad, yes. Playback goes on with the screen off, and the lock screen can pause, play and change tracks.
On an iPhone or iPad the review page keeps playing when the screen locks. The lock screen can pause and play, and on an album it can go to the next or previous track. When a song ends the next track starts, and after the last one playback stops.
In Chrome the lock screen also shows the song’s name and a position bar you can drag. In Safari the controls work, but the lock screen shows no title and no position. That comes from how Safari handles this kind of playback, and we have not found a way around it.
If lock screen playback misbehaves on a phone, opening the link with ?lockscreen=0 added to the end turns it off in that browser.
